Our Kindergarten Ready and Elementary program caters children from the age group 4 years – 6 years old and from 6 years - 7 years old respectively.

Our program focuses on critical thinking, problem solving and cooperative learning skills through individual and small group instruction. The Montessori teacher presents materials to stimulate imagination parallel to developing their essential learning skills. This group of children are closely monitored to assure appropriate progress in all areas of study.

Now that the concrete skills are already acquired and mastered, the child moves on to abstract reasoning. The curriculum follows the essential elements as instructed by the state in arts, sciences, geography, history, math and language.  We focus on creative writing, grammar, sentence analysis and spelling to further develop their language skills. Children are exposed scientific language in the areas of zoology, botany and geography and we focus on providing more accurate and organised information to respect the child’s intelligence and interests.

As children enter into a new period of life at this stage, we have a well-planned environment and extensive course of study to support their flourishing potential.

At the end of the school year the children will be tested, we will use the California Test of Basic Skills or the Texas Assessment of Academic Skills. If your child is going to transfer to a traditional or another private school, it is the responsibility of the parent to notify the school at least a month before applying at the school and taking the acceptance exam. Our test procedures are different than traditional examinations; therefore, it is best that children be exposed to the traditional testing methods in advance.

Our goal is to support the development of each child in all areas – academically, socially, physically, and emotionally. We provide extracurricular activities like: Music, Yoga, Choreography and Movement, Poetry, Computer Lab, Library Skills and Spanish, which are part of the tuition fee. Lesson on Tennis, Soccer, Gymnastics, Karate, Computers, Ballet, and Chess are optional and is offered at an additional charge.
